DPRD Chairman Wants Anies-Sandi to Work Immediately

Jakarta DPRD Chairperson, Prasetio Edi Marsudi revealed, Jakarta's elected governor, Anies Baswedan and his partner Sandiaga Uno will immediately run their duty after being inaugurated by Indonesian President, Joko Widodo this afternoon. 

I want to give input to them (Anies-Sandi) to immediately work and do consolidation in the internal executive

"Anies-Sandi must work immediately and do consolidation in the internal executive," he expressed, at City Council building, Monday (10/16).

According to him, both must quickly identify two crucial problems in Jakarta. They are floods and traffic jam.

"The previous governor has done the construction of MRT, LRT and reservoir. I hope they can continue these programs," he uttered.

He also reminds about all problems will be easily solved by establishing good communication between the executive and the legislature.

"We will support as long as it is good," he closed.
